After many mugs of coffee, indulgent scoops ice cream, and a symphony of frustrated mutterings, we, the interns at Well Done Marketing, have birthed a pioneering game for Wdm’s Moving Campaign!

How it started…

From ideating murals, interactive food maps, and all things PR, to even tossing around the wild idea of a hot air balloon, we've unveiled our latest brainchild: The Lockerbie Trail Game!!! – a unique spin on The Oregon Trail game (very original right?). With our very ambitious ideas and little to no sleep, my team of fearless interns and I pulled off this project in just three to four weeks.

My role?

I was the visual art direction guru, conjuring up pixel-perfect icon art and crafting social media posts! Working closely with our code wizard to create correct-sized artwork to fit the game and helping in creating scripts for creating outcomes and calamities that would happen to characters. I toiled away and forged literal pixels under the dim glow of my digital campfire (my PC screen) as I charted through the digital wilderness, sketching and polishing our pixel art ideas and concepts.

Our aim was to create a game that resonated with our internal audience, fostering a strong sense of morale and pride in their agency’s culture.

We sought to craft an interactive experience that not only accurately and respectfully represented personalities within their agency but also FUN!

Bringing back the nostalgia with a sprinkle of agency humor…

Let me know what you think heh.

WE made it through alive! Great job interns!

Remarkably, despite the coffee overload, no one fell victim to 'dysentery'. Whew.
